Carnegie’s 4th of July Celebration

Come to the Carnegie Fireworks Display

WHERE: 1 mile south of Carnegie at the Peanut Company

WHEN: Saturday, July 4th at dark

And all the Carnegie merchants and individuals that donated money or goods

Please leave your own fireworks at home. No other shooting of fireworks will be permitted. 

Do not forget to bring your lawn chairs or blankets.

A special thank you goes to the Carnegie Peanut Company, Farmers Coop, Carnegie Police Department, Carnegie Fire Department, and Allen Dietrich. A big thank you to the businesses and individuals in Carnegie that donated money or goods to help support this year’s fireworks display. If you would like to make a donation for the fireworks display, you can take it to the Carnegie Herald or to Kelly at the Farmers Bank.


Carnegie Alumni Weekend is getting closer and closer. Have you registered yet? The Alumni Officer have been working hard to make this the best Alumni Weekend ever.

This year’s Honorees are the Class of 1964 and 1965. These two classes have planned some awesome entertainment for Saturday Night. So …. Be sure to get your registration in early and come be a part of the 2015 Carnegie Alumni.

2015 Domino Tournament coming on Feb. 14th

Join us at the Carnegie Park for the annual Domino Tournament on Saturday, February 14, 2015. Registration starts at 8 AM, and the tournament begins at 10 AM. There is no entry fee. If you have any questions, please contact the Chamber of Commerce at 580-654-2121. We’d love to see you there!
